Seeking creative Jewish answers to contemporary questions
Growing up in Silver Spring, Maryland, I was a part of an incredible Jewish community that focused on joy and justice. In religious school, I learned that Jewish values have a voice in the conversations about the moral and social questions of our day: feminism, LGBTQ inclusion, racism, immigration, disability justice, and more. Living in Brooklyn now, I see all of this on another scale.
I saw that Jewish communities thrive when we embrace our diversity, when we think expansively about how our rituals can embrace all of us.
I saw that Jewish conversations matter and that in Jewish communities, people take care of one another in joyful as well as in tough times, and that the bond over caring for our corner of the world was extraordinary.
I’d love to start a conversation with you.
